NACE 2 - Further information
INAB has for many years used the EU NACE classification system for identifying areas of competence on schedules of accreditation for management systems certification bodies. As mentioned previously on the INAB Latest News, the changeover from NACE 1.1 to NACE 2 takes place during 2008.
While reviewing scopes as part of the changeover, INAB, where possible, quotes NACE categories to two decimal places, using the detailed descriptions on the Eurostat server for guidance. See the Eurostat server, or go direct to NACE 2 classifications.
