New Accreditation Standard for EMS Certification: ISO 17021-2

The IAF has endorsed ISO/IEC TS 17021-2 as a normative document to be applied in conjunction with ISO/IEC 17021 for EMS.  The deadline for conformity to ISO/IEC TS 17021-2 shall be the default two years from the date of publication which means that the deadline for Certification Bodies to conform is 15 August 2014.

In 2013 INAB will raise observations against ISO 17021-2 and any nonconformities identified at 2014 surveillance visits will be raised as such with a deadline for conformity of 15 August 2014.
