New IAF Publications

In June the draft IAF Mandatory Document for the Application of ISO/IEC 17011 in Medical Device Quality Management Systems (ISO 13485) and the draft IAF Mandatory Document for the Application of ISO/IEC 17021 in Medical Device Quality Management Systems (ISO 13485) were approved for publication by a ballot of all IAF Members.  These have been published as IAF MD 8:2011 and IAF MD 9:2011, respectively, and are available from the IAF website under Publications, then Mandatory Documents (MD Series).

The implementation date for both these documents is 15 July 2012,  i.e. one year from the date of publication.
